Joseph Russell, MD serves as Medical Director of Anderson Cosmetic and Vein Institute and brings considerable innovative and organizational skills to our company.   Dr. Russell is a Board Certified Specialist in Internal Medicine, Board Certified in Phlebology (the treatment of veins), and a member of the American College of Phlebology (A vein specialty organization).  In addition to being an expert in treatment of varicose veins, Botox, and facial fillers, Dr. Russell has had a distinguished career in medicine as an innovator and practitioner beginning in 1975:   

• Dr. Russell  founded and acted as Medical Director of  Clough Medical Associates.
• Previous President and a founder of Mercy Anderson Cancer Center.
• A founder of Physicians Charitable Foundation
• Medical Director of the Respiratory Department at Mercy Mariemont and Mercy Anderson where he started the pulmonary function lab and a pulmonary rehabilitation department. 
• Founder Greene Respirator Services
• Former Chief of Staff of Anderson Mercy
• Former Associate Medical  Director of Mercy Anderson primarily involved in quality improvement of medical and surgical problems.

As Medical Director of Anderson Cosmetic and Vein Institute and President of Varicose Vein Centers of Greater Cincinnati, he has assembled a top-notch  team of practitioners to provide innovative treatments of all leg veins, from the smallest spider veins, non surgical or cosmetic varicose veins, to medical-type varicose veins and associated problems. Dr. Russell performs diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, and CoolTouch CTEV procedures.
