Spider Vein Treatment in Cincinnati, OH
Spider Vein Treatment
Karen Miller Whitney, PA-C, has devoted the last fifteen years to the practice of Phlebology, which is the medical specialty of spider vein treatment and medical vein care. As a member of the American College of Phlebology, she is one of the most experienced sclerotherapists in Cincinnati and has treated over 500,000 veins.
SCLEROTHERAPY
Spider veins, which can look like fine red lines or dark purple splotches, are effectively and safely treated with sclerotherapy, as are flat greenish or bluish veins. Both small and larger bulging varicose veins can be effectively treated in the same manner to avoid surgical removal once the underlying medical veins have been shut down.
This method of spider vein treatment involves injecting the vein with an irritating solution to damage the vein, so it collapses. The needle used is very tiny so discomfort is minimal, although most patients feel a temporary stinging. Compression hose are worn after each treatment, and there will be small bruises afterwards. You are able to return to normal activities immediately. The number of treatments required depends on the severity of your veins.
Laser-type treatment of fine or small spider veins is available with MultiLight intense pulsed light, should we decide that this would provide a faster or better result.
PRICING OF TREATMENT
Treatment pricing begins at $250. Graduated compression stockings, worn after each treatment for two to fourteen days, are $60. Maximum cost for complete treatment is given at the consultation, ensuring successful treatment of all veins. In essence, we offer a guarantee of satisfaction.
We focus on providing you with the highest quality treatment and care at a reasonable price. Our patient satisfaction is excellent, due to outstanding results and because we make each and every patient our priority.
